This is an exciting time as we continue to develop the Perinatal Community Mental health team in North Cumbria.

The Perinatal Mental Health Service is a growing specialist service for women with mental health problems who are thinking of becoming pregnant, are already pregnant or have given birth in the last 12 months.

This is a countywide based post providing individualised assessment and care to women whose pregnancy or postnatal period is complicated by serious mental illness which reflects the trusts policy to engage service users and their carers in all aspects of their care and treatment.

We aim to attract and retain a diverse, talented and committed workforce, who are caring and compassionate, and therefore able to meet the demands of the modern NHS now and in the future.

Training will be provided and you will have an induction when you start.
