    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us in the role of Head Office Reporting Accountant, part of a small team responsible for the production of all financial and capital reporting and control activities for the Central Corporate entities, including entities M&G plc (FTSE listed), M&G Corporate Services Limited (the primary UK service company) and Prudential Capital plc (the group treasury entity).

    The financial reporting is for statutory and regulatory purposes, as well as internally for the business, and covers solo entities and quarterly Group submissions.

    The role will suit someone keen to progress their accounting career offering a wide range of accounting, reporting and control responsibilities.

    Support the maintenance of the monthly ledgers for the M&G plc Central Companies including month end process over investment accounting, derivative accounting, pension schemes, intercompany and cost recharges, lease accounting, subordinated debt securities accounting, dividends and share buy-back activities
    Support preparation of FRS 101 financial statements and liaison with auditors for M&G Central Companies
    Involvement with the team at various governance functions including Treasury ExCo, Valuations and Technical Accounting forums
    Keep up to date with the latest accounting and business developments
    Maintain a good relationship with the wider finance and other parts of the business
    Financial services industry experience an advantage
    Experience of Tagetik, SUN or Oracle Fusion an advantage
