    Description
    Technical Safety Engineer Permanent Remote£80k - £95k plus excellent benefits Energy Transition /Oil & Gas / Renewables / Hydrogen / Refinery / Offshore /


    CCUS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    This role is focused on the delivery of technical safety across the project life cycle, from feasibility and concept through FEED, detailed design, or supporting Group EPC projects.

    As a principal technical safety engineer, you must be adaptable and be open to dealing with new technologies for which no current safety standards exist.

    You will be required to support a range of projects, from giving expert advice to the client interface to the execution of deliverables.

    Management of hours budget, resource planning and schedule on projectsWrite, check, and approve clear and concise reports.
    Ability to share findings with all key stakeholders early and effectively.

    Communication with clients and senior managementResponsible for preparing, reviewing, and checking critical deliverables, including:

    Hazard identification and SIL studiesFlare radiation and dispersion studiesFire explosion hazard assessment (FEHA)Occupied buildings studiesTemporary refugee integrity assessmentsEmergency systems survivability assessments (ESSA)Escape evacuation rescue assessment report (EERA)Dropped object studiesQRA reportsLoss prevention deliverables, e.g.

    , ATEX studies, escape route layouts, firewater system design, and fire and gas system designEssential Qualifications and Skills:
    Degree in an engineering or cognate discipline, and ideally hold chartered engineer or professional process safety engineer status.
    Related experience working for engineering and/or client organizations.
    Experience in the energy transition arenaExcellent standard of written and spoken English.
