    Data Management Business Analyst
    Glasgow

    As a Business Analyst at Barclays, you will have the exciting opportunity to co-ordinate, plan, and perform analysis tasks for one or more components of a programme, transaction cycle business process, or specialist applications.

    You will act as a reviewer and quality gate for analysis output, ensuring the right design is delivered for user requirements.

    What will you be doing? Supporting the Lead Business Analyst/Project Manager to articulate effective requirement proposals
    Engaging with business areas and SMEs to understand high-level requirements
    Validating and documenting business requirements
    Participating in the design process and ensuring successful completion
    Owning the delivery of assigned work and driving it to completion
    Proactively collaborating with stakeholders
    Participating in test strategy and resolution of defects

    What we're looking for:
    Proficiency in SQL, XML, and Microsoft applications
    Experience as a Business Analyst in the investment banking sector

    Skills that will help you in the role: Hands-on experience with Data Visualisation tools
    Knowledge of financial industry products and offerings
    Understanding of project delivery methodologies
