- Assist with the personal care of patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication and monitor patient's vital signs as directed by a registered nurse or physician.
- Help with meals and feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Help patients with mobility and exercise programs as directed.
- Keep patient's rooms clean and tidy.
- Report any changes in patient's condition to the registered nurse or physician.
- Attend to patient's needs, as well as maintaining accurate records and documentation of their care.
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Must have a caring and compassionate nature.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and have strong organizational skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be willing to work weekends and evenings as needed.
