    Central London Royalties Temp (Finance focused)

    A little bit about our team:

    The Recorded Music (RM) Finance Department is responsible for handling the worldwide financial operations of the company's recorded music businesses.

    The Emerging Markets (EM) team are responsible for growing and dynamic markets as well as recently established affiliates and potential target territories that do not currently have a local operations.

    In these markets, the EM team are looking to establish a tangible presence, capitalising on the local trajectory through marketing of international roster and signing new artists, as well as looking for investment opportunities.

    Primary deliverables will include generating artist, label and partner statements at a varying frequency, while also helping with catalogue and new product ingestion.

    An exciting opportunity for an aspiring accountant to utilize their analytical and logical mindset while learning and implementing the fundamentals of financial and management accounting at one of the world's leading music companies.

    Liaising with the financial planners to ensure accurate recoupable cost information is extracted (from systems such as GFS) and interfaced to WARS.Regular review and management of the suspense accounts.

    Management of workload and assisting the Royalty Supervisor on an ad hoc basis.

    Educated to a minimum A-level standard (with good academic grades).Minimum of one year's work experience after leaving full time education.

    Contribute to the Royalties Accounting Guidelines document which will review systems, procedures and processes for the overall departmentManagement of a caseload of complex queries, support for audit reviews and other Project work.

    Regular review and management of the suspense accounts.

    Acting as an initial point of contact for related queriesManagement of workload and assisting on an ad hoc basisComfortable with communicating effectively with employees at all levels.
