    Interim Chief Transformation Officer

    A global venture capital and private equity fund is urgently needing an interim chief transformation officer to support their portfolio of businesses as they continue to see growth and the need for change management across the business.

    The role:

    The Chief Transformation Officer will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and streamlining processes across our portfolio companies. You will lead the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring a smooth and successful transition for all stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a comprehensive ERP implementation strategy aligned with the overall business goals of the private equity fund and portfolio companies.
    • Lead the selection process for the ERP vendor, conducting thorough due diligence and cost-benefit analysis.
    • Manage the project team, including internal and external resources, to ensure timely and on-budget completion of the ERP implementation.
    • Oversee the data migration process, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of critical business information.
    • Provide ongoing training and support to portfolio company staff on the new ERP system.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the ERP implementation.
    • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure user adoption and maximize the benefits of the new ERP system.
    • Collaborate closely with portfolio company leadership to understand their specific needs and tailor the ERP system to their unique requirements.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the ERP implementation project.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in leading complex IT and business transformation projects.
    • Proven track record of successful ERP implementations in a private equity or similar environment.
    • Strong understanding of best practices in project management, change management, and data migration.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
    • Deep knowledge of private equity operations and portfolio company challenges.
    • Experience working with private equity software solutions a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
