    Senior Sports Instructor - Summer Camp - Barnet, London

    Hours: 07:30-17:30, Monday-Friday (Maximum 45 hours per week)

    Salary: £569.60 - £681.39 per week based on age, experience, qualifications, and camp size

    Reportable to: Camp Manager, Area Manager, and Central Office. Barracudas prioritizes the safety and well-being of children

    SENIOR SPORTS INSTRUCTOR DUTIES

    • Lead Induction Training and supervise Set-Up days
    • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
    • Create a diverse timetable with suitable activities for all ages
    • Manage Early and Late Club sessions
    • Communicate regularly with Area Managers and Central Office
    • Provide guidance on activity delivery and safety
    • Introduce new activities to staff
    • Coordinate with Specialist Instructors
    • Interact with parents and guardians
    • Oversee site organization and staff evaluations

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Participate in Senior Training events
    • Experience in sports or coaching, ability to work in the UK
    • Enhanced DBS check, professional references
    • Complete necessary training and certifications
    • Additional responsibilities as needed

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety protocols
    • Stay vigilant on safety issues
    • Carry out staff evaluations
    • Report Child Protection concerns
    • Address children's individual needs
    • Administer medication when required
    • Adapt role as per camp requirements
    • Support swim sessions when necessary
