Known for their passion for innovation and the development of life-changing equipment to their end customers.On the back of significant growth and demand with key customers, the business is now seeking a maintenance engineer to join the team.
Reporting into the Engineering Group Leader, A Maintenance Engineer is now required to join the team to be responsible for all planned maintenance and breakdowns and supporting production across their Birmingham site.
Proactively maintaining all production equipment, fault diagnostics and responding to machine breakdowns (electrical & mechanical).Implementing planned maintenance schedules, leading continuous improvement strategies and managing individual KPIs.
Ensuring production deadlines are met and machinery downtime is kept to a minimum whilst tasks carried out are compliant with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Apprenticeship trained to HNC Level or above or holds relevant qualifications in the electrical engineering field or similar discipline.
Previous maintenance experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.Good knowledge and understanding of PLCs.
Good understanding of Health and Safety in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment
Previous experience working within the healthcare or medical device industry.
Knowledge/experience of Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs

Salary ranges from £40,000 to £42,000, with a 40-hour working week with a weekly rotating shift pattern within the hours of 6am-6pm.
