Volunteer Project Officer - Northampton, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom - MND Association
Description
We are looking for a Volunteer Project Officer to join our team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering projects that empower our volunteers to have a significant impact on the lives of those living with and affected by MND.
Working closely with both volunteers and staff, you'll oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet their objectives and deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include project planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation all with the aim of maximising the positive outcomes of our volunteer initiatives.
You'll engage with a diverse range of volunteers to identify and understand their skills and interests, matching them to appropriate projects and ensuring their involvement is meaningful and rewarding.
You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to implement projects effectively and manage change initiatives at both national and local levels.
Monitoring and evaluation will also be part of your remit, as you assess the impact of volunteer projects and identify areas for improvement.
As our Volunteer Project Officer, you'll prepare regular reports to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and outcomes. You will need to have project management experience, with excellent communication skills. Experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with volunteers and staff is essential.We're looking for a proactive problem-solver with creative solutions and the flexibility to navigate changing project landscapes.
