    Job Description

    We are currently partnering with one of the largest Housing Associations in the UK, who are recruiting for a Housing Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

    This is a full-time position with a salary band of £24,000 to £30,000 per annum (subject to experience) and is offering 2 days/week WFH and 3 days/week onsite in either Central London or Surrey.

    Duties will include (but are not limited to):

    • Providing legal advice and assistance in routine/standard housing management and landlord & tenant matters such as access injunctions possession claims and defence of disrepair proceedings
    • Conducting litigation, preparing and drafting all pleadings, briefing Counsel or Litigation Lawyer conducting advocacy in house where appropriate
    • Assisting and providing advice on other contentious matters dealt with by the wider Litigation team
    • Aiding with the training of officers across the organisation on Housing and Landlord & tenant Law
    • Ensuring communication between instructing officers and the Legal team is effective and efficient

    Experience required:

    • Experience working as a Housing Paralegal in either a housing association, local authority or private practice

    Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

    • Strong knowledge of various housing litigation areas including disrepair, possession claims and ASB

    Rewards and Benefits:

    • Hybrid working available after the first month (3 days in office, 2 days at home)

    Working hours:

    • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week
