We are currently recruiting for a high-calibre Software Engineer, with experience working in an Avionics and embedded domain to join Thales Flight Avionics at a time of product transition.

The successful candidate will join a small software discipline team of experienced Thales software engineers working on a variety of programmes and products. In due course, there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to become involved in the development of these newer products.
The successful applicant will be able to develop their software engineering skills and there may be opportunities to develop leadership skills on upcoming new projects.
The key focus of this role will be primarily in the military rotary wing environment, specifying and implementing software for airborne Avionic Management System products.
This role is located at the Thales site at Crawley, and the successful candidate will be required to work on site some of the time in order to make use of target integration equipment in Avionics laboratories and to work effectively in a team with other colleagues.
