    Hybrid and Flexible Working Lead - Liverpool, United Kingdom - Imperial Brands

    We are currently recruiting a Technology Development Lead, to join us permanently in our Liverpool office.

    Reporting to the Technology Development Manager andsitting withing the wider formulation team, the role contributes to the development of the next generation formulation and product technologies, which are required for the company's ambitious innovation programme and growth plans.

    In this role, you will evaluate, explore and test new technologies, assessing if they fit within the Innovation pipeline and could be a benefit to the product portfolio from either a consumer, strategic or IP perspective.

    This includes developing ideas that span multiple categories/brands and development of new ideas which expand beyond the existing product and brand portfolio.

    As the Technology Development Lead, we are able to offer flexible working solutions to suit the role holder in our Liverpool office.

    Take ownership of conducting thorough technology assessments of external technologies, through the lenses of technical, IP, safety, regulatory and consumer to determine the viability and suitability of technologies for the IMB business.

    Effectively manage and maintain strong external relationships with key partners and technology providers.

    Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements relvant to our industry and categories and be the go to extert for this knowledge.

    Work closely with portfolio, category, and markets to assess competitor and market insights and translate that into development opportunities and ultimately a development pipeline.

    Take ownership of the internal product performance benchmarking initiative.
