    Description
    Broad Outline of Role:

    The role is part of the finance centre of excellence and will support in any one or more areas of finance including financial planning and analysis, reporting and compliance, taxation, and treasury. The role will support implementation of policies, standards and processes in the respective areas. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the assigned account and business.

    Responsibilities:

  • Prepare indirect and direct tax computations from S4H.
  • Filing of Direct & Indirect tax compliance for UK & European region.
  • Maintain 100% tax & sox compliance rate.
  • Support internal and external customers.
  • Agile and able to ability to work under strict timelines.
  • Reconciliation of tax liability to accounting books.
  • SAP clearing of documents after tax settlements.
  • Plan and estimate tax liability and request for funding for timely payments.
  • Coordinate with accounts payable teams for tracking tax payments.
  • Prepare tax compliance reports.
  • Work with external tax advisory services for local filing in Europe.

    Skills and Experience:
  • Indirect Tax compliance experience UK & Europe. (filing of VAT, EC Sales, etc)
  • Direct Tax compliance - experience in filing Corporate Tax Returns.
  • Interpersonal skills (Ability to work with cross functional teams)
  • Communication skills
  • Ms Office & Excel - Mid to Advance level
  • S4H experience (if possible) - ERP
  • Team Player
  • Maintain 100% tax compliance and able to manage under strict timeline. No delay in filling of returns is acceptable.
  • Analytical skills and detailed oriented.
  • 3 plus years experience
  • Prefer ACCA or CTA or CA qualified
  • From Telecom sector (If possible)
  • Thomson Reuters Compliance tool experience (If possible).
