If yes, then this might be the role for you Thisis a fantastic opportunity – spanning from design through to full operation,and you'll be involved in all of it As the Senior Electrical, Control andInstrumentation Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading of the upgrades ofCruachan Power Station on units 3&4.

    Thisis a permanent role,based at our Cruachan Power Station. You'll be reporting into the EngineeringDirector and leading a team to deliver critical engineering upgrades.

    You willbe building on the shoulders of giants who constructed the original site backin the 1960's Takea look at what Jamie says about working within our Hydro Plants About the role Thisis a significant investment project that will include the design, manufacture,installation, and commissioning of the new units.

    Theupgrading will include the replacement of the turbines, generators, and MainInlet Valves during planned outages.

    You'll play a key role in delivering the scope of works includingmanaging the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of largeelectrical rotating plant.

    You'll also ensure that all designdocumentation is correctly recorded.

    Withyour experience, you'll be the technical authority for EC&I engineering onthe U3&4 project, while understanding the wider technical requirementswithin Drax and provide professional support and guidance to other members ofthe Engineering Team.

    Thiscould include Electricity at Work, ESQCR and other legislative and Businessrequirements with regards to Electrical Plant, Control Systems andInstrumentation & Working Equipment.

    About you

    Essentially,you'll be Qualified (Honours Degree) in a relevant engineering discipline(EC&I) and you'll Ideally be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) of arelevant institute i.e.

    IET. You'lldemonstrate your working knowledge and understanding of EC&I engineeringindustry standards and legislation.

    Healthand Safety is critical to our operations; therefore, you will hold NEBOSH orIOSH certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent.

    Wewant your experience and proven track record of delivering successful resultsin a complex, multi-disciplinary projects to shine You'llhave a passion for leaderships, driving high standard, collaboration andcommunication All of which are essential values to us here at Drax.
