    If so, we are looking for an experienced Utilities Senior Project Surveyo r to join our team in Aldgate Tower, London to work on a variety of exciting projects.

    AECOM plays a critical role in the conceptualisation and creation of amazing spaces, delivering projects and buildings that define skylines and communities.

    AECOM Buildings & Places is made up of dedicated teams delivering projects in Commercial, Residential, Life Science, Data Centres, Work Places, Education, Government and Healthcare.

    We are a friendly, busy and motivated team with an established track record of successfully delivering local and overseas projects.

    Bloomberg, Battersea Power Station and Key Client Utilities Portfolio Management Roles, to name but a few.
    The Engineering Services and Utilities Team sits within the London Cost Management Team. We specialise in the Cost Management of Engineering Services and Utilities in a broad range of sectors and end markets
    You will lead the Utilities Cost management on projects, taking responsibility for successful delivery. Also providing effective support and mentoring to Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.

    You will develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team and be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).

    You will ensure that all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training and manage the delivery of cost management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.

    You will provide full Utility Cost Management duties to AECOM clients.

    Proven experience in a consulting environment providing Utilities CM services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.

    Passionate about delivering high quality consulting services to our clients.
    Understanding of JCT and NEC standard forms of contract.
    Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.

    Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.

    Degree Qualified - BSc or MSc - in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management or engineer based qualifications
    Professionally Qualified - ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution
    Relevant industry experience with utility qualifications
