Our client, a reputable construction company, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
If you have a passion for numbers and strong skills in Sage 50, Xero, or Quickbooks, this could be the perfect opportunity for youAs an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate processing and recording of financial data.
Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of our client's financial processes.
Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and processing payments.You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other departments to resolve any financial queries, so excellent communication skills are essential.
To excel in this role, you should have an understanding of accounting principles and experience using accounting software. Full training will be provided.Provide support to the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.
Input data for the preparation of payroll for approximately 90 staff, making any deductions for sickness.
Update and input subcontractor invoices into sage, creating reports to send to auditors.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
