    Job summary:

    Brook Green Supply are an independent B2B energy supply company.     As part of the Billing & Settlements team, you will be directly involved in ensuring accuracy across settlement data. Your role will involve working alongside the Team across various other tasks from the setting up of customer accounts through to preparation for billing. It will include reviewing gas meter reads, updating AQs, resolving metering queries and interacting with other industry participants.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to grow in the Metering & Settlement area.     Essential functions of the job:

    • Work with our Gas Settlements Team and the wider business to manage the gas supply portfolio with Brook Green Supply
    • Develop and enhance reporting, analysis and improvements to align with industry obligations and performance;
    • Assist with reviewing and ensuring gas meter reads are validated in line with industry requirements to achieve read performance obligations;
    • Assist with reviewing AQs and raising required updates;
    • Assist with raising, monitoring and reporting on all Siteworks processes including; Meter installs, removals, upgrades and downgrades;
    • Work with our partners and agents to ensure performance in all areas of Metering works meet SLAs;
    • Communicate with other shippers and suppliers to resolve queries such as Disputed Reads and Erroneous Transfers;
    • Assist with resolving various Billing and Metering queries and exceptions;
    • Liaise directly, and via our Customer Experience Team, with brokers and customers via email and/or telephone with enquiries;
    • Various data entry, validation and administration tasks.

    Skills and experience required:

    • Previous experience working within Gas focused Operations position would be preferred but not essential;
    • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Excel;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Proactive approach to problem solving, idea creation and suggesting/driving change;
    • Initiative to take on duties or tasks to further your learning;
    • A fast learner and enthusiastic about learning new subjects and acquiring new skills;
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and able to quickly respond to changing business needs and demands;
    • Able to prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
