- Proactively chase and manage your own allocated portfolio of customers that have not provided payment within agreed terms
- Working to monthly targets and debtor days
- Identify and alert the Credit Manager of any potential risks that may have a financial impact on the business
- Develop a strong relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure that any invoice queries are resolved prior to the invoice due date
- Obtaining customer remittances to ensure correct cash allocation
- Generate relevant paperwork for any debts going legal
- Working to targets and debtor days
- Monitor and maintain credit risk reports
- Previous Credit Control experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically
- Strong attention to detail
- Methodical approach to work and motivated to succeed
- Focused on delivering objectives and deadline driven
- Approachable and helpful personality
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of SAP and Sidetrade beneficial although training will be provided if required

Here at XPO Transport Solutions UK we are looking for a Credit Controller to join our existing team on a full time, permanent basis. This is currently a hybrid role working from home 3 days per week and 2 days based in our office in Crick.
