    Sales Engineer - UK widenIndustry: Mechanical Engineering / IndustrialnLocation: Nottingham (hybrid)

    Overview:

    nWe are recruiting for an ambitious Sales Engineer to join this international Mechanical Engineering Group with UK office based near Nottingham.

    The company are very dynamic and a world wide leader in their field so this opportunity will suit an experienced Sales Engineer looking to join an exciting company and develop

    Responsibilities include:
    nDeveloping customer relationships across the UKnMaximising existing customers as well as developing new business and customers including OEM and distributionnWorking closely with customers providing product support in association with technical / engineering teamsnReporting directly to the Sales DirectornResponsible for promoting products to customersnDevelop a multi-channel approachnWork closely with internal and external teams regarding market and product insights, trends, data and competitor analysisnContinuously improving customer experiencenWork closely with Marketing - publications, marketing material etcnTravel across the territory - meeting customers, trade shows etc (approx %)nWeekly reporting and CRM system management

    Candidate Profile:
    nEducated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Business related subjectnAt least 2-3 years' B2B sales or account management experiencenExperience of industrial / mechanical engineering sectornProven track record of sales and customer success in different channels - direct, OEM and distributornExcellent communication and negotiation skillsnCustomer focusednHappy to travel across the UK as required (approx 30%)nAbility to work well in a close team environment as well as independently
