    Purosearch seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Children's Home Manager for a small service catering to children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, offering a salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 and on target earnings of up to £60,000.

    This exciting opportunity within an established organization presents a chance for an experienced manager to create a meaningful impact.

    The home is located in Leeds, a vibrant city renowned for its industrial heritage, cultural diversity, and thriving arts and music scene.

    With excellent transport links including a well-connected train station, extensive bus network, and convenient access to major highways, navigating both within the city and beyond is effortless.


    Job Requirements:

    • Establishing and developing a new children's service
    • Managing and fostering team development and cohesion
    • Setting and reviewing targets and objectives for the staff team
    • Promoting partnership-based practices with young people and their families
    • Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for the children

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Minimum two years of staff supervision experience
    • At least two years of relevant experience in residential care of children, preferably as a Deputy Manager
    • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
    • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
    • Full driving license is essential
    • Ability to provide consistent care and support to young people
    • Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviour
    • Flexibility in scheduling, able to cover when required
