    Cassiltoun Housing Association are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic individual for anopportunity which has arisen in our Technical Team.

    You are required to have a minimum of 3 year's experience in a Registered Social Landlord, Local Authority orbuilding industry and/or maintenance with an excellent knowledge of current Health and Safety Regulations.

    The successful candidate will work within the Technical Team delivering reactive, cyclical and major repairprogrammes which over the next 10 years will be in the region £12 million.

    The successful candidate will be based in the Housing Management and Community Services Team and will lead on thedevelopment, implementation and revision of new and existing policies and procedures connected to communityservices. They will provide the vital link between the Housing and Community Services Team, external agencies,tenants and customers.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of working within housing management, community services or tenantparticipation.     Linstone Housing is seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic and dynamic finance individual to work in the FinanceDepartment. The role of the Finance Assistant is integral to ensuring that our finance service operates smoothlyand meets statutory requirements. With an annual turnover of in excess £7m and 59 members of staff, this is achallenging and varied post with an excellent salary and conditions of service.

    Based in Linwood, Linstone is a registered social landlord and a charity that owns and manages approximately 1600properties, providing affordable rented and supported housing, as well as providing factoring services to afurther 2000 owner occupiers.

    Reporting to the Finance Manager the duties will include responsibility for the purchase and sales ledger processingfunctions, nominal ledger reconciliations together with carrying out a range of day to day finance tasks. Partof the role will also assist in the development of standard reports and provide ad hoc information to alldepartments.

    The successful applicant will have:

    • Experience of purchase and sales ledger
    • Excellent spreadsheet and data managementskills
    • Previous experience of working within finance and usingaccounting software packages
    • Strong IT skills, with good working knowledge of Microsoft
    • Previousexperience of working within social housing is desirable but not required as training will beprovided
