    Description

    YF has joined forces with a highly acclaimed food business, currently experiencing rapid expansion and with customers including some of the UKs most prestigious retailers and restaurants They're currently seeking a Head of Finance to spearhead the digitalisation and automation of their financial operations, while also managing traditional finance responsibilities. It's not merely about crunching numbers – it's about reshaping the financial landscape of a flourishing company.

    This presents a wonderful opportunity to become a key player in a team where your contributions hold significant weight. As Head of Finance, you'll be pivotal in directing their growth strategy for the next 5 years alongside the Founder and MD, blending digitalisation efforts with traditional financial expertise.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the digital finance and accounting transformation, including the introduction and implementation of new systems, processes etc.
    • Lead and develop the financial strategy & KPIs to support the next phase of growth strategy
    • Manage the budget process, 3-year plan, and financial controls
    • Report and update on financial performance

    Requirements

    • Experience leading implementation of digital tools and systems e.g. AI / Automation / APIs etc.
    • Previous experience with Acquisitions and Divestments of SMEs
    • Your expertise should also include leading on budgets, KPI development, producing final accounts for publication, reviewing legal contracts, and liaising with lawyers.
    • An understanding of the challenges associated with working in a fast-growth start-up or scale-up environment
    • ACA/ACCA/equivalent qualifications
    • An enthusiastic and hands on approach
