    Description

    Join a dynamic and innovative construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Planner to join our team and lead the planning function on a major data centre project in London.

    To be successful, you will ideally have:

    • A minimum of HND/HNC in a construction-related qualification
    • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role

    This senior role is crucial for project success in terms of both time and money.

    Operating under an NEC 4 contract makes planning particularly challenging, requiring a senior planner to implement reporting procedures and change management effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NEC contracts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the planning function for successful project delivery
    • Implement reporting procedures and change management processes in line with NEC 4 requirements
    • Provide bid support for construction projects
    • Utilize P6 software for project schedules
    • Collaborate with project teams for aligned planning activities
    • Monitor project progress and mitigate delays
    • Mentor junior planning staff

    Requirements:

    • Minimum HND/HNC in a Construction-related qualification
    • Minimum 10 years of Senior Planner experience
    • Extensive experience with NEC contracts
    • Proficiency in P6 software
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven track record of successful project delivery
    • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
