    Marketing Science Director – Insight and Effectiveness

    Reporting to:
    Head of Marketing Science

    The objectives of the role will focus on leading the management and continued development of measurement solutions for the channels within NMS , as well as setting strategy and governance for how and when solutions are deploye d to answer client objectives.

    It will also involve building and growing relationships with independent measurement partners.
    The role will help to inform the development of our internal measurement strategy and future roadmap. This will involve close collaboration with our commercial and product teams.
    Understand ing client challenges and defining the metrics that matter for understanding performance of the media plan


    • This is a dynamic and compelling role, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Develop a core measurement framework to support the product vision of Nexus and supporting the commercial teams to deliver their goals and address challenges.
    Build relationships with GroupM's agencies across data, tech and planning teams.
    Deliver internal training and education sessions
    Experience in developing POVs on measurement solutions, including gap analysis, both in terms of technical and commercial requirements.

    Relevant experience in campaign effectiveness measurement techniques, such as in-market A/B testing, MMM or attribution modelling would be desirable but not essential.

    Strong experience of interpreting campaign effectiveness data and proven ability to connect various pieces of information to create a compelling narrative.

    Ability to transform data, often coming from different sources, into to actionable insights and to effectively communicate these findings to stakeholders.

    Data literacy and Excel skills

    Comfortable manipulating data sets with the ability to interpret and understand what the data means and to identify trends.

    You will work closely with various and different business units that will have different and competing needs. We will provide the training you need but having the right attitude and motivation are key to success.

    Understanding of video advertising and related metrics
    Experience of A/B testing, MMM, Econometrics or attribution modelling
    Genuineinterest for the media industry,campaign effectiveness, consumer behaviour and data
