- 1st point of contact for service users.
- Support process of an service users and their family visiting the centre, including preparing the patient and assisting in the collecting of forensic evidence.
- Ensuring that a high standard of DNA anticontamination is maintained between forensic cases (cleaning).
- Assisting patients and liaising with other agencies regarding the management of the service user pathway.
- Assisting with preparation, service user support and acting as an advocate during their time at the SARC.
- Be a key player within the SARC team and wider company network.

- Because of the nature of the Sexual Offence Examiner, applications are invited from females only. This post has a genuine occupational qualification under the Sex Discrimination Act, Section 7(2)b and 7(2)e.
- Whilst the position may be based from one location, additional travel may be a requirement of the role across SARC's, therefore a UK driving license is required for this role and access to a vehicle.

Location: The Hazlehurst Centre SARC - West Yorkshire
Salary: The payment rates for this role are a shift retainer of £29.92 Monday - Friday, £39.36 Saturday and Sunday, plus additional attendance payment of £46.50 per case for up to 3 hours, you can then claim over time on a case after the 3 hours of £15.50 per hour.
Rota Patterns : This vacancy will be weekends, Saturdays (10am-6pm) and Sunday/Bank holidays (11am-4pm). Option for further shifts within 24/7, Adults services as well as covering annual leave etc.
