    We are looking to appoint a dynamic and well-motivated qualified band 6 Respiratory Physiologist, with the relevant experience to join our busy Cardio-Respiratory department.

    The successful candidate will be highly motivated and proactive, able to communicate with a range of disciplines, medical and nursing staff.

    Qualification and Professional Training
    BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology (Respiratory Function) or equivalent level of experience
    Member of Registration Council for Clinical Physiology registered
    Immediate Life Support
    MSc Respiratory Physiology or equivalent experience consolidated by short specialist course training and self-guided study
    Personal Qualities
    Organisational skills to fulfil role of section manager including, time management, proactive planning and problem solving
    Flexible and reliable
    Good previous health record
    Frequent concentration is required to interpret and analyse test data and results with a high level of concentration during patient test procedures
    To provide expert opinion and seek co-operation from medical colleagues regarding appropriateness of referrals and make the final and on occasions contentious, decision where changes to the referral form are required or if testing is contraindicated
    To be able to move heavy equipment due to lack of space
