    IT Infrastructure and Compliance Specialist

    The Opportunity:


    We are seeking an IT Infrastructure and Compliance Specialist to join our IT department and take the lead on managing our infrastructure, Azure environment, and ISO27001 compliance.

    This role is about more than just maintaining systems; it's about coming up with innovative solutions, ensuring the security and compliance of our IT infrastructure, and working directly with our IT team to deliver value.

    Your role will be to blend strategic thinking with hands-on infrastructure management, acting as the vital link between our company's IT needs and our IT team's capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure in the UK, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
    • Azure Administration: Oversee the Azure cloud environment, implementing best practices and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
    • ISO27001 Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO27001 standards, maintain necessary documentation, and continuously improve our security posture.
    • Security Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve security measures, keeping our infrastructure secure and up to date.
    • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
    • Reporting and Communication: Report directly to the Head of IT, providing regular updates on infrastructure health, compliance status, and ongoing projects

    What You'll Bring:

    • Technical Expertise: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognised UK university, along with 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably within the UK market.
    • Azure Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including administration, security, and optimization.
    • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO27001 compliance requirements and experience implementing and maintaining compliant systems.

    Solving Skills:
    Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure challenges.
    • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
