    Senior Environmental Manager - Rail and Infrastructure

    Ground Control is a leading external maintenance business and biodiversity expert committed to enhancing and improving the physical environment.

    We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Environmental Manager to join our Rail and Infrastructure team at Ground Control.

    This role will work in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders delivering key strategic objectives and innovation to deliver business and project deliverables.

    Building suitable resources to support business ambitions
    # Managing and coordinating scheme delivery in required timeframes, from ecological assessments, BNG assessments and traditional ecological surveying
    # Responsible for the specific ecological profit and loss for this business unit
    # This is a great role for experienced environmental or ecological experts ideally with a strong focus on rail.
    Knowledge and experience of policy, regulations, standards, metrics and tools relating to biodiversity along with general wildlife legislation across the UK and its application
    A background in conversation or deep understanding of conservation management methods related to biodiversity
    Experience of operating at a senior level leading the biodiversity elements of major projects and delivery of high-quality deliverables
    Demonstrable experience of managing complex projects, including commercial, resourcing and scheduling activities
    Good GIS skills
