If you've ever ordered a Domino's pizza from their mobile app, or used your Co-op membership app, or an Argos card then you've sampled our work. We create brilliant digital experiences that drive new value for some of the biggest brands in Europe. Our current client list includes Argos, Greene King, Sykes Cottages, Curry's, TalkTalk, BBC, Co-op, Chelsea FC, Vodafone, Charles Stanley, Domino's and more.

We are 260+ people, headquartered in Manchester with further offices in Edinburgh and Amsterdam. We are a team of strategists, product owners, designers, engineers and marketers who have been awarded for our complex solutions to business challenges. An award we are most proud of is our place on The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list in 2023.

    The Opportunity

We're looking for a People Partner to support our People Strategy at Apadmi. Passionate about people, this role will be responsible for working collaboratively with our People Team and our wider management community to create a compelling colleague experience that drives high performance and motivates our people to be the best they can be.

This role would be perfect for someone looking to step into their first People Partner role or someone working at this level looking to make a change and includes covering the entire HR lifecycle, from employee relations, reward and recognition, engagement and special projects amongst the key areas, we'll truly give you the platform to shine.

You'll be hands on owning the day-to-day operational running of our People service alongside our awesome Senior People Advisor, providing the business with a high quality service whilst ensuring Apadmi's core values remain at the heart of everything we do.

Not only will you be responsible for People Operations, but a core focus of this role will be to support the implementation of a performance culture that packs a punch, where our people have total clarity on what they need to deliver, singing off the same hymn sheet in terms of our progression as a business.

You'll be joining an award-winning People Team who have brought home a number of awards over the last 12 months, so we're after someone who's equally ambitious as us, not just in adding to our expanding trophy collection, but leading the charge in HR innovation. We don't want to be like everyone else.

Reporting into our Chief People Officer, you'll get the licence to be creative with your solutions and the autonomy to be visible across the business, getting the freedom to work collaboratively with our leaders to implement a people plan with a difference.

As a People Team, we work at pace, we're highly organised, we're clear on what we need to do, working hard on our goals and key results and we hold ourselves and each other accountable. We play for the team and we play to win, so we need someone in this role who can fit into our way of working and who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional looking to take that next step, to think big and deliver industry leading colleague experiences that will make a significant difference to the lives of our people.

You'll need to be ok with it being a 'roll-your-sleeves-up' kind of job as we're a small but mighty team and comfortable and confident with delving into the detail in employee relations one day, to designing an engagement strategy the next.

With our ambition to become the UK's leading digital product business, this role would suit someone who is used to working in a Technology or Digital driven environment with the ability to quickly understand the technical landscape of a growing technology company.

We need someone who is up for a challenge, entrepreneurial in their approach and keen to disrupt the norm, challenging our business and our people to be better than the rest.

    About You

If reading the above has you craving to find our more, we're looking for someone who can really demonstrate the below:

Anemployee relations wizz, you'll be confident and competent in giving our managers and our people the right guidance and information when needed

Ateam playerwith relevant experience in this field, ideally within a fast-paced, tech/digital business

Astrong approach to project managementwith excellent organisational skills to prioritise what needs to be done

Acreative thinkerwho doesn't just use old-school HR thinking, but is able to think about the most impactful way of delivering initiatives

Adreamerwho is ambitious and keen to learn and grow their career at a first class business and in a forward thinking People Team

    The Process

To give you a clear understanding of the process we'll use for this role, you'll go through the following steps:

Stage 1:Screening call with our Talent Acquisition Lead to see if you're right for us and if we're right for you.

Stage 2:Informal meeting for 30-40 minutes with our Chief People Officer for us both to find out more about each other and give you more detail on the role and priorities over the next 12-18 months. This will be done via video call.

Stage 3:This is the final stage and most likely to involve a face-to-face interview and presentation with our CPO and most likely a senior representative from our Senior Leadership Team who will be key stakeholders for you in the role. This is likely to take 1.5 hours.
