    Description

    Job title: Radio field engineer

    Location: London - NW10 area

    Radio field engineer – covering the NW10 area

    Salary: circa £50k, plus a company vehicle, phone, laptop plus overtime and overnight pay for when visiting clients sites.

    The role:

    You'll be designing, deploying and maintaining radio communication systems working with digital radio and associated software / hardware to ensure reliable and efficient communication across various platforms. You'll also be contributing to the development of innovative radio transmissions based on project requirements.

    RF site surveys to determine layouts, conduct analysis to ensure efficient communication.

    • Network configuration and Maintenance
    • Testing and evaluation
    • Documentation
    • Security and compliance
    • Collaboration and communication

    Essential skills:

    • Software defined radio engineers (SDR)
    • Radio Frequency (RF) Planning and Optimisation:
    • Broadband push-to-talk (BBPTT)
    • Strong understanding of RF
    • principles, spectrum analysis,
    • and network protocols

    You would need to have knowledge of:

    • Body worn cameras
    • Digital 2-way radios
    • push to talk apps & software solutions (smart devices)
    • Satellite communications devices
    • And other RF devices
