We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Functional Skills Teacher to join our team in Milton Keynes within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Provision.
Position Overview:
As a Full-Time Functional Skills Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and support to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons tailored to the specific needs of SEMH pupils.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching and support staff to create an integrated and cohesive educational experience.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing individualised interventions as needed.Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience teaching Functional Skills in a UK educational setting.
Proven experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Strong understanding of the UK education system and curriculum.
