    Junior Technical Product Specialist

    £26k - £28k Nottingham

    Location: Nottingham

    Type: Permanent

    Pattern: Monday - Friday

    Client Profile:

    Our client is an established Merchant Services provider; they are currently undergoing a phase of expansion and are looking to add a Junior Technical Product Specialist to their team, if you are an Junior Technical Product Specialist then read on. The successful candidate will be working within a successful and encouraging team environment in Nottingham.

    You will play a vital role in supporting the development and enhancement of the clients ePos and self-ordering software solutions.

    Duties:

    The Junior Technical Product Specialist responsibilities are described as the following:

    • Perform market analysis to pinpoint burgeoning trends, assess the competitive terrain, and understand the evolving demands of consumers in the hospitality and retail software sector.
    • Collect and analyse customer feedback, requests for features, and usability metrics to pinpoint areas ripe for enhancing product quality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, specifications, and user stories
    • Aid in prioritising and overseeing the product backlog, considering factors such as business significance, technical intricacy, and customer influence.
    • Support the product management team in creating internal user stories and managing product roadmaps
    • Support internal teams and customers by contributing to the development of product documentation, training materials, and user guides.
    • Support in the monitoring of product performance and KPIs, and propose recommendations for continuous improvement

    Personal Specification:

    • Previous experience in a Product Management, Business Analysis, or similar role is preferred but not required
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret complex data sets
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Trello is a plus
    • Passion for technology and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
