- Advise and challenge the business with timely and proactive analyses, assessment of variances vs. budget-forecast with financial impacts and risks.
- Lead, inspire and develop a team, ensure optimal training across Develop and implement new reporting tools to ensure timely, accurate and transparent reporting.
- Act as an active business partner, providing management information to other departments, informing on any unexpected issues impacting the financial performance of the site and proposing/implementing corrective actions.
- Stabilize accounting activities with our BPO partner (in areas such as P2P, A2R and O2C). You will lead and execute the site's financial month-end and year-end closings (determining and analyzing manufacturing variances).
- Ensure Business units required reporting to the authorities such as tax and VAT.
- Ensure preparation of Business units annual accounts, including supporting and facilitating external auditing.
- Provide monthly financial reports to the site's cost center managers.
- Assess and manage the site's financial performance.
- Prepare, lead and execute the site's forecast and budget exercises.
- Ensure a reliable product costing.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, determine and drive implementation plans.
- Identify and support productivity and financial improvement initiatives. Ensure the implementation of internal guidelines as well as adherence to local regulations.
- Professional Qualification in Finance/Accountancy
- 10+ years' experience in Finance and a solid experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with manufacturing controlling and product costing.
- Sound experience as a people manager.
- ERP (SAP) experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes.
- Strong project and change management skills. Analytical mindset and self-starter, being able to see opportunities and solve problems independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Work independently with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a decentralized finance structure.
- Ability to set long-term financial targets and sponsor performance improvement projects.
