The Senior HR Generalist will support the VP HR – Kinect & EMEA Commercial team with generalist HR activity across the EMEA based businesses and partner with HRBPs to ensure that HR priorities are supported. The role holder will work closely with business managers, acting as the first point of HR contact, ensuring that strategies are implemented that optimise compliance, talent retention, talent development and employee relations. The jobholder will also provide operational and best practice advice, facilitation, resolution and support for managers and colleagues on a variety of people issues including performance management, interpretation of terms and conditions, employment law, policies and procedures ensuring that business views are taken into consideration where necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide operational and best practice advice, facilitation, resolution and support for managers and colleagues on a variety of people issues including performance management, interpretation of terms and conditions, employment law, policies and procedures ensuring that business views are taken into consideration where necessary
• Working collaboratively with other support functions including HR Services, Payroll and Benefits ensuring actions are closed out in a timely manner
• Support HRBPS with the employee lifecycle to ensure exceptional service delivery, including but not limited to:
• Recruitment related activity and hiring manager support
• Effective and proactive support for employee related issues including support for disciplinary & grievance, performance management and occupational health cases
• Supporting exit procedures
• Workday activities
• Working with HRBPs on policy review, development and harmonisation across EMEA
• Supporting immigration and visa processes within the EMEA region
• Supporting HR projects as required
• Data analysis and dashboard creation
• Support the VP HR with administrative requirements
• Supporting managers with interpretation and implementation of policy and procedures

PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):

• Ideally educated to degree level
• Strong HR advisor experience gained supporting a UK wide business
• Experience gained supporting a multisite business operation
• Strong HR generalist with strong experience in all areas of HR
• Up to date of knowledge of local employment legislation in allocated countries
• The role involves partnering with employees at all levels and experience of supporting a diverse operation is important.
• Data analysis and report creation
• Strong HRIS skills ideally Workday
• Additional languages desirable, specifically Norwegian, Hungarian, French
• Demonstrates tenacity and diplomacy in order to manage and close issues positively and constructively in a challenging environment
• Open minded, and receptive to high levels of change – positively embraces and drives change at all levels
• Strong relationship builder, skilled at constructing positive working relationships with a diverse client group
• Customer focused approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of adapting style and tone according to the situation and audience
• High level of problem solving skills, with specific focus on developing new, creative and challenging ways of driving the people/HR agenda
• High level of personal integrity
