    Job Title: Junior Technical Pre-Sales Consultant (IT Storage/Hardware)

    Location: Flexible – remote based / Work From Home (WFH)

    Salary: Up to £40,000 + bonus + benefits

    Chapman Tate Associates is looking for a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant (IT Storage/Hardware) to join their team. They are a well-known technology company that provides AI, ML, and HPC solutions to various industries including higher education, research and development, and enterprise firms.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and suggest appropriate storage solutions.
    • Assist in creating and delivering technical presentations and demos to potential clients.
    • Conduct product evaluations and proof-of-concept activities to demonstrate storage solutions' effectiveness.
    • Stay updated on the latest features and enhancements by working closely with engineering and product development teams.
    • Offer technical support throughout the sales process, addressing customer questions and concerns.
    • Participate in sales meetings and provide input on market trends and competitive analysis.

    Requirements:

    • Strong knowledge of IT storage technologies, including IBM, Dell, Lenovo, HPC, and HP storage solutions.
    • Familiarity with storage networking protocols like SAN, NAS, and Fibre Channel.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to different audiences.
    • Proven ability to work well in a team setting.
    • Desire to learn and grow in the IT sales and pre-sales engineering field.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Storage+, Dell EMC Proven Professional, IBM Certified Specialist) would be advantageous.
