About you

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting young adults on their journey to independence.

Previous experience of working with people with a learning disability and/or autism is not essential as you will be supported with training and learning opportunities relevant to the role.

What is important is that you share our values and that you want to see people be the best that they can be.

About the role

You will work flexibly as part of a team on a rota basis including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. In addition, there will be waking night support opportunities available too.

As part of the role, your approach will be to facilitate and enable learning which builds people's confidence and life skills, developing appropriate relationships with people we support, their families and wider professionals whilst maintaining a supportive approach to each person.

Depending on the needs of the people we support within the service, there may also be some support with personal care such as supporting with medication.

Further information about the role can be found in the
job description**.

In return for your contribution we will support you throughout your career

  • We provide a wide range of
employee benefits, career development and lifestyle support services to ensure that you too feel supported, fulfilled and valued from day one of your employment with us.

Persona is committed to being an inclusive employer and recognises the value of having a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve.

Where possible, we will support employees to work flexibly or with adjustments, so that they can perform to their best ability.

We are committed to providing a working environment where all employees are treated with dignity and respect, and where individual skills and life experiences are valued.

Please note

Satisfactory disclosure at the appropriate level under the Disclosure and Barring Service is required prior to appointment.

If this sounds like the role for you:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service which will positively impact the future lives of the people who will be living at St Marys.

So, if this is the role for you
