    The Welcoming Association is a charity that works with New Scots (asylum seekers, refugees and migrants) inEdinburgh.

    We won the 2021 Ashden Award for Greener Communities, and three of our volunteers also wonprestigious prizes at the Inspiring Volunteer Awards 2021.

    At the five-year strategic review in February 2024,the staff acknowledged some of the organisation's many strengths, such as being cooperative, close-knit,flexible, and dedicated to its employees.

    The purpose of this role is to work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and have overall responsibility for thequality of our training and employability provision.

    These programmes aim to support The WelcomingAssociation's New Scot service users in accessing work, volunteering, and training opportunities that matchtheir skills, qualifications, and interests.

    The post holder will provide individual coaching and guidance forThe Welcoming Association's service users and manage three project coordinators. The post holder will work from The Welcoming's office on 20/1 Westfield Avenue, Edinburgh, EH11 2TT.

    .We are looking for someone to promote and deliver Lead's Adult Carers Digital Project. This is a learning service forcarers aged 16 through to older adulthood who lack digital skills or who experience barriers when engaging withtechnology.

    We are the network for befriending organisations. Established as a charity in 1994 we have thirty years of experiencesupporting and connecting befriending services.
    Our members form the largest network of befriending services in the world.
    We provide access to sector-specific training, events, resources, and awards which support quality in befriending.
    Each year we coordinate Befriending Week from the 1st-7th November.
    At Befriending Networks we have an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic Communications Officer to join ourteam. You will be experienced and motivated, making a key contribution to our staff team and network ofbefriending services.

    We have been working hard over the past 12 months as an organisation, we have re-branded, are about to launch a newwebsite this summer, and have published our Strategic Plan for the next five years.

    The role will be a mix of content design and creation for social media, website, and newsletters;and taking the lead for our annual celebrations during Befriending Week.

    You will be a skilled project planner, a team player, a problem solver, and someone who takes pride in producinghigh-quality accessible work.

    You will have familiarity with interpreting analytics and audienceengagement data.
    We seek a part-time (21 hours per week) Learning Coordinator to promote and deliver Lead's Dundee Learning Project.
    This is a learning service for disabled people and carers who experience barriers to learning, work, and furthereducation.
    1) Engaging and supporting disabled people and carers to overcome barriers and embark on personalised learningjourneys, making positive, sustained transitions into their chosen progression routes and positivedestinations.

    You will be passionate about the transformative power of adult learning, be confident in communicating one to one andwith groups and have a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.

    You will have great organisational skills and previous experience of supporting disabled people experiencing a rangeof barriers, of working one-to-one with learners, and of designing and delivering learning programmes.

    Access toa car is essential due to the nature of the work in homes and communities across the region.

    The Royal Blind School, in Edinburgh, is a leading provider of specialist education services for children and youngpeople with a vision impairment, including those with additional support needs and/or complex needs.

    As a GrantAided Independent Special School, we deliver education and support for day and residential pupils aged 5 to 19years.

    You will support the delivery of the learning and care to our pupils who have a range of visual impairments andadditional complex needs, by providing a safe and high-quality environment in which they will thrive.

    Applicants should have experience of working with children with additional support needs in a classroomenvironment.
    The post is subject to PVG Scheme Record/Update for regulated work with vulnerable children and young adults.
