- Managing our literary assistant
- Processing and negotiating translation contracts
- Liaising with our tax forms consultant to ensure the prompt payment of international money
- Sending out submissions internationally and communicating with our co-agents and a range of scouts on backlist and front-list titles
- Updating scouts and co-agents on new sales, bestseller positions and pulling together our monthly rights newsletter
- Overseeing our Frankfurt Book Fair presence including pulling together the rights guide, overseeing the scheduling of meetings, and attending along with two other ME agents
- Liaising with authors to help arrange international publicity

Mushens Entertainment is looking to appoint a Foreign Rights Manager in a maternity cover role (full time) for the period of one year, reporting to CEO, Juliet Mushens.
The salary is £33,000-£38,000 dependent on experience. The role is split 3 fixed days in our Shoreditch office, and 2 days working from home.Mushens Entertainment represents a dynamic and bestselling list of fiction and non-fiction including no.

You will be responsible for:
You will have at least four years' experience working in rights whether that is as a foreign rights executive/manager at an agency, in-house at a publisher, or as a literary scout.
