    Oncology Specialist NurseAre you passionate about making a difference to the lives of prostate cancer patients? Do you possess the expertise and compassion to provide comprehensive care and support? If so, we invite you to join our team at Apodi on our new prostate cancer Patient Support Programme.

    Working alongside a multinational, highly regarded pharmaceutical company providing gold standard care to prostate cancer patients, you'll be managing your own caseload of patients in an in clinic setting together with virtual patient touchpoints.

    Key ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of a supportive, dynamic team of Specialist Nurses – focused on the delivery of this Patient Support Programme.

    You will be involved in making and delivering scheduled outbound support calls as well as attending outpatient clinic visits.

    As an experienced oncology nurse, you will provide clinical reviews and patient education to both the Trust MDT as well as patients and their carers.

    Be at the heart of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within the Trust, providing expert and specialist nurse support as well as developing patient care and treatment plans.

    Ensuring adherence to treatment protocols is maintained. Provide continuity of care for your patients.

    Working as an advocate for your patient's needs, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, ensuring time to build trusting relationships with your patients, carers and other stakeholders.

    About YouYou'll be a current registered nurse with proven experience in oncology and ideally, urology nursing.
    You'll have experience of administering chemotherapy and ideally completed the SACT passport. Current UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
    Willingness and the ability to travel to clinics is an essential requirement.

    Specific experience of working in a nursing function within the Pharmaceutical Healthcare industry on a Patient Support Programme as well as your extensive understanding of the NHS will be a distinct advantage.
