CREDIT CONTROLLER
Mark Allen is a growing media organisation, with 550 MAG-nificent individuals across 7 offices.

We are recruiting a Credit Controller to work on the MA Exhibitions portfolio, focusing on collections for delegate and stand invoices.

This hybrid role is 3 days in the Herne Hill office, with a salary range of to £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE) plus benefits.

We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage collections for the MA Exhibitions portfolio, focusing on delegate and stand invoices.
Ensure timely payment of invoices, targeting 80% within terms.
Conduct collections via phone, email, and in-person at events.
Resolve daily invoice queries, including purchase orders, invoice amendments, and credit notes.
Collaborate with sales teams and clients to streamline finance interactions.
Process invoices, credit notes, e-billing, and payment allocations.
Investigate incoming payments to minimise suspense account entries.
Perform month-end and year-end processes for accurate accounting.
Administer in-house portals such as Evessio & InEvexeco.
Upload invoices to payment processing websites and portals.
Generate Aged Debtor reports with commentary and provide feedback to sales teams.
Maintain CRM and accounting system data.
Take ownership of assigned ledgers and events.
Manage both personal and MA Exhibitions Collections mailboxes.

About You:

A proven track record of collecting invoices promptly, especially in an international credit control setting
Excellent problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently in an online environment
Strong technological skills, particularly in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel for report generation and pivot table use
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, particularly over the phone
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet targets
Professional interaction with stakeholders to resolve queries
