    CompanyOverview:

    With over 83 years ofhistory the resort boasts topnotch facilities including a clubhouserestaurants indoor and outdoor swimming pools and an 18 and 9holegolf course.This is afamilyrun multifaceted leisure complex withover 250 staff members across multiple sites. The Hunstanton sitewelcomes over 3000 guests during peak months and offers a range ofamenities which need to bemanaged.

    What are we lookingfor

    The ideal candidate for theOperations Manager position will have a strong background inleisure management particularly in overseeing swimming pools with apreference for being PPO Qualified and NPLQ Qualified (Desirable).While direct poolside duties may not be the primary focus theability to provide coverage if necessary is advantageous showcasingversatility and readiness to support theteam.

    Additionally the ideal candidate candemonstrate proficiency in written communication for tasks such asemails administrative duties and complaint handling. This includesthe ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism andefficiency in allinteractions.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Overseethe daytoday operations of our leisure complex ensuring efficientstaffing cost management and exceptional customerservice.
    • Lead and motivate a team membersincluding shift leaders and supervisors while recruiting additionalstaff for peak seasons.
    • Manage rotas conductperformance appraisals and provide ongoing training and developmentfor team members.
    • Ensure compliance with healthand safety regulations including maintaining valid qualificationssuch as NPLQ and First Aidcertificates.
    • Collaborate with departmentmanagers to optimise departmental performance and guestsatisfaction.
    • Manage budgets monitor revenueand costs and contribute to financial reporting andforecasting.
    • Handle guest complaints andfeedback with professionalism and efficiency striving to exceedexpectations in the customerexperience.

    Requirements:

    • Previousmanagement experience within a leisurecomplex.
    • Current NPLQ qualification withlifeguard/leisure experience.
    • First AidCertificate and valid Enhanced DBSCertificate.
    • Flexible schedule includingavailability to work weekends and bankholidays.
    • Driving licencepreferred.
