    Description
    ROLE SUMMARYTo carry out all aspects of electrical work to maintain the health service premises across the estate.
    Install, test, commission, maintain, service and repair electrical and electronic systems as well as associated mechanical equipment.
    Maintain a safe environment for service users, staff and visitors with regards to building fabric and building services.
    Must be willing to carry out basic duties of mixed disciplines and attend training courses as necessary.
    To use all workshop machinery to its fullest potential.

    Must be willing to work as a mobile operative and travel to all sites across the estate as and when required.

    Must also be willing to travel to different locations if/when the estate expands.

    Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings.

    Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.


    All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.


    If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank.

    Driving Licence is required . City and guilds Technical Level 3

    Recognised Trade Apprenticeship in electrical discipline

    Specialist experience and professional knowledge to degree level obtained through technical courses and experience Knowledge of Electrical safety Code for LV systems Working knowledge of HTM Low Voltage systems Knowledge

    Performance focused - to operate within agreed performance standards Must have excellent interpersonal and customer skills. Holder of a current full UK Driving Licence
