- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of process control systems.
- Monitor control systems to identify any potential issues and proactively address them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize control system performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement best practices for control system maintenance and operation.
- Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of new control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all control system activities.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in control system technology and industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Process Control System Technician.
- Strong knowledge of control system fundamentals and hands-on experience with process control systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting control system issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring high-quality work.
