- Have five years relevant experience in a railway environment.
- Proven experience of managing project/portfolio works.
- Good understanding of CDM 2015.

- Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.

Manage and direct the Works Delivery team to deliver inspection, maintenance and renewal of assets to standards. Manage activities within agreed resource levels, budget and unit cost measures to achieve safety, asset performance, cost and quality business targets.
Minor Works are looking for a Works Delivery Manager with a good civils & railway background, to lead and deliver the civil engineering portfolio in a railway environment. The role is based on the Southern region and strategically placed on the Wessex route.
About the role (External)
The Works Delivery Manager key role will be to lead the Geotech & Drainage portfolio delivering Capital and Opex spend projects. The role will require management of a small team and supply chain partner's so business objectives can be achieved within the region. As a Works Delivery Manager you will be accountable for managing cost of work across all project and ensuring strategic KPI's are executed. The role will manage the supply chain partner's contracts and ensure CDM and engineering assurance is managed with across the portfolio, while ensuring safety & passengers are at the forefront of every decision.
