    This is the job

    Joining The AA as our Lead Project Delivery Manager , your primary responsibility will be to spearhead key strategic initiatives that align with the AA's Digital strategy. Additionally, you'll line manage a talented team of Project Managers, offering mentorship and support.

    You'll closely collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure customer and business objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. Our Digital function serves the entire AA Group, providing you with the opportunity to establish a wide network and acquire a comprehensive understanding of the organisation.

    What will I be doing?

    • Lead and manage high-impact projects to deliver customer and business outcomes efficiently and effectively.
    • Line manage, mentor, and guide Project Managers and Junior Project Managers, fostering a culture of growth and development.
    • Conduct feasibility studies to recommend project delivery and implementation opportunities aligned with our strategic vision.
    • Communicate project progress and status effectively to sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring all levels of personnel are engaged and informed.
    • Prepare comprehensive project documentation and seek opportunities to enhance the Project Management function's efficiency and effectiveness.

    What do I need?

    • Strong Project Delivery experience within a large/corporate Digital focused organisation with particular skills on both Finance and Resource Management
    • Demonstrable experience working within an Agile Project Delivery environment alongside a background within Digital
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to challenge, influence, and persuade varying levels of stakeholders including Senior Leaders, Executives & Directors
    • Current or prior experience of line management and/or mentorship of junior team members proactively encouraging upskill of knowledge
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and Miro, with an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving
    • Commercially astute. Understands allocated business areas and identifies opportunities for improvement
