    Description

    To manage and advise on all matters concerning H&S within the business at all levels, ensuring that the business is proactively managing safety and providing a positive environment for the well-being of all its staff and stakeholders.

    Provide advice and direction to the Senior Leadership Team on H&S matters.
    Leader in the development of H&S policies. Supporting the Senior Leadership Team in promoting a positive H&S culture.

    Responsible for managing and reporting statistical H&S performance to the board of directors, analysing the data and advising the needed strategic, managerial & practical improvement areas.

    Helping the management to foster a learning organisation mindset, advising how to learn from our incident, our positive interventions & best practices.

    Responsible for H&S regulatory and procedural compliance in the UK.
    Building close and strong relations to our operational teams in order to provide efficient support and leadership.

    Provide advice and guidance on the training requirements to the management for all levels of the business regarding H&S matters.

    Provide regular support to the project teams and the plant yard.
    Ensure a relentless focus on safety – WORKSAFE HOMESAFE.
    Experience of managing Health and Safety at a management level, in the construction sector.

    The individual will be both focussed and thorough and have the gravitas and professional credibility to advise senior management when something needs immediate redress together with the tenacity and drive to ensure that the necessary action is taken.

    The individual should have a desire to continuously pursue innovation and development in connection with Health & Safety, with a focus on the development of an improved culture of safety.
