    The HR team are based in London, Houston and Paris. We provide a full range of HR support to all EDF Trading's offices. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that embrace the EDF Trading culture of working hard whilst enjoying the challenges of our roles.

    Main responsibilities

  • Act as Workday SME, proposing and promoting solutions that consider a broad business angle ensuring the needs of all stakeholders are taken into account when designing system or process changes;
  • Responsible for the maintenance and delivery of the HCM and associated HR functionality of Workday.
  • First level of contact for Workday related issues and/or requests - user support, troubleshooting and escalations for system queries (where required)
  • Proactively identify opportunities for future and current system enhancement to optimise the way EDFT uses Workday in HR, whilst also quantifying associated business benefits
  • Support the use of Advanced Compensation to facilitate Year end and Reward planning cycle, to enhance current processes and governance within Workday, working in partnership with Reward and global team
  • Develop, improve and deliver HR data analysis and management information reporting to stakeholders
  • Utilise Workday functionality to improve HR Data analysis and explore opportunities to enhance the HR Data analysis proposition.
  • Drive initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity, addressing any gaps through a continuous improvement approach.
  • Act as a liaison between HR, other departments and external AMS provider to ensure cross-functional alignment of HR Technology solutions.
  • Provide specialized inputs for relevant EIB data uploads.
  • Lead the design, development and maintenance of related reports/dashboards and data management strategy.
  • Working closely with HR team members to understand requirements, conduct complex analysis, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday HCM solutions across functional areas.
  • Participate in the cross-functional biyearly Workday release cycle activities (including regression testing, planning for relevant functionality enhancements, considering downstream and end-user impacts, addressing change management needs).
  • Providing ongoing knowledge transfer, training and support to cross-functional team members.
  • Working with stakeholders to identify areas where Workday can be used to improve processes and procedures, as well as providing training and support to users to ensure that they are able to use Workday effectively.
  • Proactively keep up to date with related HR and business issues and initiatives that may impact on the reward and HR strategy and ensure relevant information is shared as appropriate
  • Build an effective network with key contacts inside and outside the Company
  • Experience required

  • Workday HCM experience essential.
  • Proficient with core HCM functionality as well as advanced modules (Advanced Compensation and Workforce Planning).
  • Deep technical and functional knowledge of Workday. Passionate about the potential of technology within HR;
  • Ability to distil technical information in to clear and concise end user documentation and processes.
  • Experienced in end-to-end Change Request Management;
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a proven track record of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information or similar. You will have demonstrable experience using Excel (to an intermediate/advanced level) in your role.
  • An individual who will thrive in a challenging and changing environment. You will be highly motivated and keen to learn and develop within the HRIS field.
  • An individual with experience working in the investment banking, trading or commodities arenas is desirable.
  • Experience of wider HR practices is desirable
  • Technical requirements

  • High level computing skills, particularly in Excel (v lookups / pivot tables) and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with data analytics / MI reporting software desirable
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification desirable
  • French language skills a bonus
