An opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Practice Nurse to join our friendly team at Walton Medical Centre. We are looking for a highly motivated, fully experienced Practice Nurse to join us in delivering the highest standards of care for our patient population of just over 7000 patients. This is a part time position working 25 hours per week, currently over 3 days.
Main duties of the job
The appointee will be expected to carry out all duties expected of a Practice Nurse, including cervical smears, chronic disease reviews, vaccinations & immunisations. We would like the applicant to also act as a mentor to our Trainee Nurse Associate and Health Care Assistant with full support from our 6 GP Partners.

Walton Medical Centre is a Team of 6 GP Partners, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Trainee Nurse Associate, 1 HCA, we have a full compliment of admin staff to help and support the smooth running of the Practice. We strive to treat patients and colleagues with dignity, care and respect at all times.
Job descriptionJob responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in Primary Care with a focus on delivery of the highest quality care to our patients.The key skills and experience should include Cervical Cytology, Childhood Immunisations, management of Long Term Conditions, Travel advicevaccines and cervical cytology is essential.
