Your Role
You will be responsible for generating qualified leads for software solutions using outbound sales calls, emails and social selling as appropriate, to ensure a regular flow of sales-ready opportunities to the wider commercial team.
This role suits candidates who want to actively contribute to the business's wider commercial success, assist in identifying potential target segments, and research accounts, and take responsibility for sourcing prospects to supplement and direct call lists.
The role offers a generous base salary and an uncapped commission structure based on the number of qualified sales leads generated, with additional commission available upon hitting and exceeding annual lead and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a clear understanding of company product and services
• Communicate and build relationships with various senior decision-making contacts (typically Financial Directors, Commercial Directors and MDs).
• Research, develop and maintain a prospect database
• Generating and nurturing leads based on BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timescale) qualification
• Emailing contacts with relevant information about our products and services
• Forecasting, updating and reporting from our CRM database.
• Attend prospect meetings and events as appropriate
• Working closely with and supporting the marketing and sales teams
Required Skills and Experience
• A professional and consultative approach and attitude
• The ability to build relationships with business leaders and decision-makers
• Commercial awareness, with excellent communication skills
• A team player looking to take on more responsibility
• The ability to use initiative, work autonomously and contribute ideas
• 1+ years experience using a CRM system, preferably HubSpot
• Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• One to two years previous experience working in a SaaS B2B environment
• Must be Manchester-based, willing to commute to a buzzing city centre office
